MISSING SHAR PEI

This is "Crunch". In March 2000, he was adopted from Shar-Pei Rescue of TN by Mark & Lisa Gobeyn of Peoria, IL. Mark & Lisa divorced and Lisa (now Lisa Elger and still of Peoria) kept Crunch. Follow-up phone calls with Lisa were very reassuring and we believed that Crunch was in safe hands. Because of Lisa's busy schedule, we repeatedly reminded her of the terms of her adoption contract and that we wanted Crunch back if she found that she could not keep him. She assured us that she would contact us. We believed all was well.

We have recently found out that Lisa Elger SOLD Crunch to Diane of South Pekin, IL and that we were lied to in many of our follow-up conversations. Lisa no longer had Crunch and apparently, had not had him for some time. Crunch's new adopter, Diane, had no idea that Crunch was a rescue dog or that we wanted him returned. Unfortunately, she was unable to keep him and she also re-homed him. At this point, Cruch has disappeared.

Crunch was born 9-2-99 and is a fawn brushcoat with a beautiful meat mouth. He is microchipped by Home Again and the chip # is 2274276072. This picture was taken when he was 6 months old.
