Hi again, friends!

I'm writing to let you know that I'm doing much better! I want to thank my guardian angels for all their help! My foster mommy said because of them, I'm able to get a high quality diet, excellent vet care, and lots of extras to help me get better.

I'm getting all this hair and mom says I'm turning into that pretty girl she saw in me. Shar Pei Savers had my eyes fixed, and now I can see better. I don't have good vision but I can see enough to get around. My foster family says I have a good memory too, because I remember where things are. I have learned how to make it out the back door on my own. It took me a little while to get used to the one step outside the door but now I run outside.

I go to see the vet in another week and they will tell me if I'm healthy enough to be spayed. I also need some teeth removed. I may need entropian surgery on my eyes if the doctor says I'm doing better. The first eye surgery was to remove my cherry eyes. I do have some damage to my eyes so I will need to have eye drops in my eyes several times a day. My mom keeps my eyes lubricated all the time so they don't get dry. I really don't mind because it makes them feel so much better. I'm also good with my foster brothers and sisters. (As long as they don't try to get my food) I like to snuggle too. Since my foster mom and dad have a low bed, I can get up there and snuggle with them in the evenings.

I'm feeling so much better that when mom gets home, I like to tug on her shorts just so she knows I've been waiting for her to get home. I think she loves it when I do this 'cause she's always laughing at me???

Oh, I知 learning to walk on a leash too. I get really scared but I like going to the campus by our house. It has a big field for me to sniff around in. Once I get the hang of it, I won稚 be scared anymore. Mom said this will take some time.

On my personality... Well, I'm a little standoffish with other people right now but I think I will get better in time. I love my foster mom and dad but I'm a little scared of other people until I know I can trust them. Mom says this is common for us wrinkled dogs so she's not worried. Once I know you love me, I can relax and be myself. I'm really a loving girl. I follow my mom and dad all over the house and yard and I love to get treats!!! I may not see too well but I can hear really good. Mom says I can hear the treat jar open from four rooms away. I try to be the first one to the jar.

It may be a little time before I can go to my forever home but mom says there is someone out there that would love to have a girl like me! I have lots of love to give to someone who has the time for me! I will keep you updated on how I'm doing.

Thank you SO much to all of my Guardian Angels for helping me get better. Mom says some of them have actually e-mailed to see how I'm doing. Every little bit helps and we love big and small donations as they all are getting me the care I need. Even though I have some special needs, Mom says she is not worried. We will take one day at a time until I'm better. Thank you for caring about me. I'm told some dogs never get that so I must be one of the lucky ones.

Love,
Lizzie Bee

P.S. - See what a snuggler I am once I trust you? I was helping my foster mom feel better, as she was under the weather that day. That's me, Lizzie Bee - just what the doctor ordered!!

Hello, my name is Lizzie Bee. I知 new to SPS. I知 not looking my best right now but I知 getting better every day. I could not see at all when I came into rescue but I致e had one eye surgery and can see a little bit better. My foster mommy says after my next surgery I may be able to see even more. You may not think I知 the prettiest girl right now, but my foster mommy says she sees a pretty girl in me.

I知 really coming out of my shell and mom thinks I知 turning into a really nice little lady. I知 going to have another eye surgery in the near future, and also get "fixed".  Once I知 feeling better, I will be able to have my surgeries and get to go to my forever home. My foster mommy says they are putting me on the website so some friendly people may see me and decide to be my guardian angel.  She will post updates on how I知 doing.  If you want to be my guardian angel I think that would be great!!!! I need to know that people out there are counting on me to get better.

If you can donate anything for this special girl, please click here to help Lizzie. Please, please, please, even $5 or $10 will go a long way to help her!
