Shar Pei Savers | Happy Endings
We found our forever homes!
Bear
01/09/2010Bear found his happy ending with Lori and Brian in Indiana. His mom writes Everyone loves him. He's such a good looking dog. Everyone comments on him. When we are out walking, strangers even comment on how great he looks and want to pet him. And he is gracious when strangers come up to him. He loves the attention. He is such a laid back dog. He's perfect for us. He always wants to be where we are. I can't tell you how often I talk about Shar Pei Savers. This has been the most wonderful experience for us. It has worked out so well for us. Any time I hear of someone talking about getting a dog, I tell them about our experience. I don't know if I have convinced anyone to get a shar pei, but I know I have influenced people to get dogs from other rescue organizations
Bear formerly Rossi
01/10/2010Bear, formerly Rossi, was one of six puppies that was rescued when Sassy and Missy were picked up from a backyard breeder who was going to take them to a shelter. Bear is already 39 pounds, described as a "well-behaved gentleman" and has a happy home with Greg and Sharon and dog sister Katie
Bentley
01/09/2010Bentley was adopted by the Fred and Vikki Kline of Milwaukee, WI. Special thanks to Dana and Roger Duke of Evansville, IN for fostering Bentley. We are also grateful to Bentley's Guardian Angel: Deborah Lundeen (Dover, AR).
Avery
01/09/2010Avery was adopted by his foster family, Barry Young and William Lippert. Avery was found roaming as a stray and picked up by a good Samaritan. He?s shown snoozing with his new sister, Lily. Barry says that Avery us a little rascal and is glad that Lily finally has someone to play with. Thanks to everyone who helped rescue Avery and find such a great forever home!
Bonnie & Chester
01/09/2010Chester (left) and Bonnie (black dog, right) were both adopted by Donna Sharp and Peter Arndt of Farmington Hills, MI. Chester and Bonnie (now Velvet) were rescued from the same shelter and we suspect they had been together for most of their lives. When Peter and Donna adopted Chester, they saw how much Velvet and Chester loved each other so they adopted Velvet, too. Velvet is very devoted to Chester and is never more than a few steps away, so it wonderful the two of them could stay together. Special thanks to Art and Judy Delusky of Detroit, MI for fostering both Chester and Velvet.
Bronson
01/10/2010Bronson was adopted by his foster parents John and Rebecca from Willoughby, OH. Rebecca had this to say about Bronson: "Bronson's been an overall joy and constant source of amusement for us. Thanks to Monica, for asking me at work pre-coffee if I was looking for a dog! Also thank you to Bronson's Guardian Angels who paid for his neutering and eye surgery (he's much more handsome now!) We love him so much and he’s one happy boy!" SPS is also grateful to Bronson's Guardian Angels: Gail Melissa & Dan Emery (Toledo, OH), in memory of Miss B, Lisa Klinck (Toledo, OH), and Erin Granda (Deerfield Beach, FL).
