Ladies' Night Out - Wisconsin, April 26, 2008

The first annual Ladies' Night Out silent auction in Wisconsin was a big success! There were lots of wonderful items to bid on, for every interest. The venue was beautiful, and the staff very friendly and helpful. Dinner was delicious, as was the terrific cake. In addition to the silent auction, there was also a fun bucket auction, door prize drawings, and a table of doggie items for sale. This event helped raise some much needed funds, and we want to thank everyone who attended, donated, bid on, and purchased items. Thank YOU so much, and we couldn't do what we do without your support. And huge thanks to Melissa Emery for coordinating this fundraiser! Great job, Melissa!

Yard Sale Fundraiser, August 27, 2005

Beloit, WI: Special thanks to Sara & Jason Arbuckle, Dr. & Mrs. Arbuckle, and Gillian for their generous donations of items to sell at this year's yard sale. Because of their generosity, this event was a huge success.

Mounds Pet Fest, June 12, 2005

Madison, WI: A huge "Thank You!" to everyone who visited the Shar Pei Savers Booth at Mounds Pet Fest 2005. It was a huge success and we raised lots of money to help the SPS dogs! Mounds provided a wonderful area on Willow Island, outside of the Alliant Energy Center for the vendors to set up. The tents sure helped us beat the heat! We had lots of things for sale – handmade paw print magnets and pins, homemade dog cookies, rescue magnets, and more. We also had travel dog bowls,
leash bags, bandanas, and even some great collars provided by Purina – since SPS was chosen for their Rally to Rescue Prorgram. A very popular seller for us was our homemade "Pei Pops". Frozen dog treats sell great when the weather is hot and sunny! LiLu and Nemo also had a great time meeting our patrons and potential adopters!

Thank you so much to all of the SPS volunteers that made this such a success – those who made things, as well those who helped us keep everything running smoothly at the booth!

Petco Fundraiser

Janesville, WI: The groomers at Petco had a surprise in store during SPS's May 1 meet & greet: all of their tips were donated to help SPS's rescue dogs! Ladies Night Out Fundraiser, March 26, 2004

Monroe, MI: Ladies Night Out was a fundraiser for Shar Pei Savers to ensure that our rescued shar pei are able to get all the veterinary care they need. Gift baskets for every interest - from wine to scrapbooking - were auctioned off in a silent auction. A full house ensured the success of the fundraiser. Thanks to everyone who attended or donated a basket.
