The volunteers of Shar Pei Savers, Inc. are devoted to rescuing,
rehabilitating, and re-homing Chinese Shar Pei dogs.
Our commitment to our rescue dogs and our adoptive families
goes way beyond the placement of a dog -- we are there every
step of the way -- from initial adjustment to ongoing education
on health and well-being.
Our organization was founded on these important principles:
All Shar Pei Savers dogs must have outstanding temperaments.
To ensure our dogs have good dispositions, thorough evaluations
are performed before any dog is accepted into our rescue program.
All Shar Pei Savers dogs will be well socialized.
To further ensure our dogs are adoptable, all of our dogs
are kept in loving, caring foster homes. None of our dogs
are ever kept in overcrowded kennels. We believe that pre-adoption
socialization in a home environment is a key element in any
successful adoption.
All Shar Pei Savers dogs will receive outstanding veterinary
care.
Our dogs will receive all veterinary care required to make
him/her healthy before being adopted. We go above and beyond
simple spays/neuters, vaccinations, and heartworm tests. If
we suspect there is a problem with a dog, we will run all
tests required to identify and resolve any known health concerns.

we do everything possible to make sure your new dog is a good
fit and will become a cherished part of your family.
