Hi, my name is Champ and they say  I’m the best dog in the world.!!!  I’m looking for a foster home.  I’m living at the a dog kennel for now until the right person comes along to give me a chance.  I came from a very bad situation and it’s been hard for me to find a home that does not have other dogs.  I love my humans, I love kids, but I haven’t been around dogs to much so I tend to be defensive with them.  I do fine on walking past dogs but I really want someone to give me all the attention.

I enjoy kids and once had a foster home where the kids dressed me up in play clothes.    I will need a little training and encouragement to get accustomed to a house setting but  I know there is a patient person out that that  can help me with that.   All I need is a for someone to think I’m the best one on the site!   

As you see, I’m a beautiful boy.  I  came into rescue with my sister.  She passed away shortly after getting her forever home.  I’m hoping one day soon I will have the chance to experience a home like she did.  I’m friendly, healthy, and have lots going for me.   If you don’t have another dog and are looking for a perfect boy to spend your days and nights with, pick me, Champ.    Won’t you please fill out an application and consider me.

I’m Sealy and I love you!
My human friends have this to say about me…..
He has a wonderful temperament. He is about 2.5 yrs old.  Has been at this shelter for close to a year. He is good with large and small dogs,  he is fed seperately because he does scarf his food and will run and scarf the other dogs food also.  He is good on lead but does pull.  He is good with kids, and ignores cats.  He knows basic commands but only likes to listen when food is involved.  He does not potty in his kennel so seems housebroke.

I’am Jesse the one on the left, I am very nervous around other people, I do warm up to them after awhile, I am very friendly would never bite anyone, I love other dogs. I recently have loss my vision I don’t think 100% but I still can do pretty much anything any other of my four legged friends can do. I love to play and I love treats of all kinds. I do not chew on things mom said I never have since day one, which she says she loves about me. Once I warm up to you I love being petted and rubbed. I would have to say I am as easy going as one can be and would make a great friend to any two legged human.

I am Tabitha and I am a very, very sweet lovable friend. I love all animals big or small. Some say I am overweight when they look at me but my vet says I am just big boned girl. I won’t deny I do love my food and treats though. Mom says I am an attention piggy love rubs, but hey when you look this good why not? I never get angry I have a great temper. I do not care for the bathing thing I will admit that and sometimes I like to steal my brother’s food but other than that I am a 100! I can’t wait to meet new people being I am so outgoing, I am hoping someone will let me stay with them until my mommy can get back on her own two paws and bring my brother and I home. If  a mommy cant I am hoping I can be adopted to great home that will love me and rub me and throw a few treats my way once in a while.

Hi, I’m Georgio! I’m sure you noticed right away that I’m not a purebred shar pei – best guess of everybody that has met me is that I am half shar pei and half doberman. One thing is for sure though, I’m a handsome guy! I came from a kill shelter in Indiana – I was pulled off the “kill” list twice and staff there loved me so much they begged for more time to find me a rescue. Luckily my guardian angel Deborah of SPS stepped forward to rescue me. When I arrived in rescue I had absolutely no manners and no social skills at all. I had never worn a collar, never been on a leash, ridden in a car, or anything. I caught another lucky break and someone sponsored obedience training for me – wow! I’m like a different dog! My trainer says I’m very smart and I quickly learned heel, sit, down, stay, come, and lots of other great things! One of the trainers liked me so much she let me come to her house as a foster dog and since then we’ve learned I am housebroken, crate trained, good with other dogs (I’m pretty active so playful dogs work best with me), and even OK with cats! Oh yeah…the saddest part of my story is that when I arrived in rescue I had a wound on my hind leg – it wasn’t healing well so I was taken to the vet again and x-rays revealed I had been SHOT! The bullet was removed and I’m all stitched up and ready for action, but how awful that somebody would do something like that to a sweet boy like me. I may look quite serious in my pictures, but trust me…I’m a silly goofball at heart and I love love love attention! My bad luck is in the past though…I’m looking to the future and hoping for a forever family…if you think an active, sweet, handsome boy like me might be the dog for you please fill out an application and ask about me…Georgio!

Hi.
 I’ve learned my name is Benson. I’m learning alot of new things lately since my arrival from OH to WI. My foster mom has been teaching me how to walk on a loose leash, sit, down, and wait plus basic good house manners so I don’t counter surf, or go into the trash–some of those undesirable, but enticing behaviors for an older, but wiser pup. I’m also learnng canine etiquette from my foster siblings as I like to be playful at times. Although I’m full of puppy gumption especially when I get out of the crate in the morning, I will settle down and focus on my “schooling.” I seem to be fairly well socialized although I wasn’t sure of the vacuum–now it’s no big deal. I’ll be meeting Jack, the cat, this week so I’ll let you know how that goes. I do love to be touched–I’ll even let you clip my nails! So if you’d share your time and home with me, I promise to give you unconditional love, attention and companionship.  

Update!
My meeting with Jack the cat went well-We went nose to nose , and Jack even tried to do the cat thing–whatever it’s called –when they rub their bodies up against you. Yuk!

This is the very sweet dog from Medina County.  Picked her up today and she is full of kisses and tail wags.  Not very sure of men, but she will still go up to them with tail wagging.  If they make a sudden move toward her, she will growl, but then will approach them and give kisses.

while & then some nice folks got me into a foster home where I now live
with a brother & sister pei. I get along fine with them & my brother is
blind so I should be good with most dogs.  I really love to be with the

Hi everyone! My name is Peggy and I am 8-9 years old. 
Here’s what Shar Pei Savers has to say about me. Peggy has heartworms, glaucoma in one eye and very little sight in the other.  All which we were treatable.    She was pulled in an attempt to fix her up and get adopted but after much testing, we found out she was in renal failure.  We did not feel good about placing her in a forever home so she has become a Sanctuary dog here at a foster’s  home.  We are taking very good care of her and treating her to keep her comfortable.  Please help donate and be her guardian angel.  This girl has had a bad life and we were so hoping to give her a good life in a forever home!  We are all heartbroken about it.  She is getting more attention and vet care than she probably has ever had.    She is a beautiful girl and such a sweety to people but very fearful of other dogs.   She will not be up for adoption due to her condition but any help with vet bills even a small amount is appreciated.
